WCS Viet Nam works to degrade, disrupt, and dismantle wildlife trafficking networks and reduce poaching pressure on wildlife populations. WCS uses science-based evidence and reasoning to aid conservation efforts, educate and influence Government and the public on the significance of combatting for wildlife.
WCS conducts research into the illegal wildlife trade and its impacts. WCS publishes some of the work conducted which can be found under the

WCS also works on issues such as strengthening the legal framework in Viet Nam and working with the Vietnamese Government to ensure authorities are well informed about updated legislation.We have collated a library of all legislation relevant to combating the illegal wildlife trade in Viet Nam.
