WCS Viet Nam works to degrade, disrupt, and dismantle wildlife trafficking networks and reduce poaching pressure on wildlife populations. WCS uses science based evidence and reasoning to aid conservation efforts and educate Government and the public.
WCS conducts research in to the illegal wildlife trade and impacts on areas such as health and the economy and cross border criminal syndicates. WCS publishes some of the work conducted and this can be found under the publications section of the website.
WCS also works on issues such as strengthening the legal framework in Viet Nam and working with the Vietnamese Government to ensure authorities are well informed on legislation. As part of this work we have collated a library of all legislation relevant to combatting the illegal wildlife trade in Viet Nam. This information can be found in the law database section of the website.
